Március 10-én emlékezünk a Szerencsi Cukorgyár 2008-as bezárására. A súlyosbodó járványhelyzet miatt Szerencs Város Önkormányzata és a Művelődési Központ 2021-ben nem rendez nyilvános, csoportos megemlékezést. A város vezetése szűk körben 2021. március 10-én, szerdán 14 órakor koszorút helyez el a Cukorgyári Emlékparkban. Kérjük, hogy akik szeretnének megemlékezni az évfordulóról, azok egyénileg, a járványügyi előírások maximális betartásával tegyék meg.
